Gary is an acknowledged expert in dyslexia identification and guidance in schools, colleges, universities and the workplace.

With over 15 years experience as a Consulting Psychologist with Dyslexia Action (formerly the Dyslexia Institute), his experience of dyslexia and other hidden disabilities is extensive. He also has specialist knowledge in selection, assessment and job analysis. At the leading psychology consultancy, SHL, he worked on computer based products and the Work Profiling System.

A Chartered Psychologist, his academic background is in cognitive psychology, artificial intelligence and consciousness.

Business clients include Norwich Union, Waveney District Council, London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Barclays Bank, Chelmsford City Council, Essex Police, Essex Rivers Health Authority. He has also worked closely with several schools, colleges and universities.

He has been an associate of Knight-Chapman Psychological, ADS-Veliger, Hatfield-Jefferies Psychologists and Ashridge Management College.
Gary recently taught an AS course in Psychology. All his students gained “A” grades although he is convinced he learned more than they did!
